An opportunity has become available for experienced and enthusiastic RMN's to join our team. Malvern ward is a functional mental health ward for Older adults based at Bushey Fields Hospital, looking after patients with a range of acute mental health needs. The team comprises of OT's, medics, psychologists and pharmacists who work well and cohesively together on a day to day basis. All staff are given opportunities for development and training and we have development programmes for band 5 and band 6 staff in addition to the on-going training required for your role. There is also a trust revalidation training programme to support our valued staff nurses.

Job responsibilities
To provide nursing care to patients with mental health problems within an inpatient setting, in line with the 6 Areas of Action identified in the Vision and Strategy for Nurses, Midwives and Care Staff (also known as the 6Cs): Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage and Commitment.
As a qualified nurse the post holder will provide co-ordination, assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for people with mental health problems in the inpatient setting.
The post holder will act as a named nurse. They will work in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the continuing development of the service.
