Main duties of the job

My job makes better lives by leading a team, under the direction of the Manager and in partnership with the Clinical Lead, to ensure the delivery of an excellent standard of care, which promotes independence and dignity and positively enhances the lives of individuals in our service. Job Overview To assist in setting and maintaining standards of health and person-centred care and support in a social care setting. Making independent decisions and judgements in the interests of the people who use our service. To maintain a high quality of care ensuring the requirements of the organisation and CQC are met.

Job description Job responsibilities

To assist in setting and maintaining standards of health and person-centred care and support in a social care setting. Person Specification Qualifications Essential
  • Management/Professional qualification at Degree level plus relevant extensive experience gained from an LD background
Desirable
  • Registered Nurse - RNLD or RMN
  • Membership of a professional body (NMC
Experience Essential
  • Suitable for someone with experience in working with people who have learning disabilities, and has relevant management/leadership experience. Having a registered nurse qualification in addition to this would be desirable. Evidence of developing user and carer involvement, and developing positive relationships with commissioners. Evidence of supporting positive team-work and valuing colleagues skills and experience, as well as supporting them to develop.
