We have an exciting opportunity in Hywel Dda University Health Board for a Clinical Specialist within the MSK service in Pembrokeshire. The post will support clinical delivery across the MSK pathway spanning Primary, secondary and community sector.
Main duties of the job
The University Health Board is working towards developing a fully integrated pathway and as part of this vision, the post holder will be required to work within the core MSK physiotherapy department, work closely with Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners in primary care and Clinical Musculoskeletal Assessment and Treatment Services (CMATS).We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual who has proven leadership skills and significant experience working within the MSK field. Full time hours are preferable. However, we will consider other combinations of working hours as part of job share arrangements if that supports full delivery of the required service.

- Diploma/ Degree in physiotherapy
- HCPC Registration
- Advanced accredited training at master's level or equivalent
- Accredited post graduate specialist courses/ training relevant to role
- MSc within relevant specialty
- Post-graduate qualification up to post grad diploma level in relevant area
- Non-medical prescribing qualification
- Injection therapy qualification
- Competency as nonmedical referrer
- Member of the CSP
- Relevant leadership courses/ qualifications
- Membership of appropriate special interest groups
- Significant Post graduate experience relevant to specialty
- Significant experience managing a complex caseload working within relevant specialty
