We are looking to appoint on a secondment basis:
A Ward Manager for a female acute inpatient ward at Larimar Acute Ward (This is within Acute and Urgent care not Forensic Services)
This position requires a motivated, inspirational, innovative and creative leader who can manage the ongoing developments and delivery of care on a female acute ward
You will need to possess high quality clinical and managerial skills to ensure the maintenance of the current high standards of effective delivery of patient care.
Main duties of the job
Your managerial skills will need to enable you to take total management responsibility whilst promoting good working relationships and be responsible for the professional development of the staff you are responsible for within the Multidisciplinary Team.
You will be a Registered Nurse or Occupational Therapist with experience of managing and leading teams. Experience of working in acute inpatient services will be an advantage.
In return we will offer you the opportunity to influence and shape the developments within the Services. We will provide support from an experienced group of clinical staff and managers and ongoing training, professional development highlighted through an appraisal
