An exciting opportunity has become available within the Children's Physiotherapy Team based in North Cumbria to carry out bank work for team.

We are looking for a skilled Childrens physiotherapist to take on this fantastic opportunity, working closely alongside physiotherapy colleagues in the team and countywide, as well as other specialists working with the children and families you will support (Speech and Language Therapists, Childrens Community Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Paediatricians etc.)

Main duties of the job

Working on the bank within the Trust covering areas within North Cumbria.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the beautiful county of Cumbria, with quick access to the beautiful Lake District, the Cumbrian west coast, and the City of Carlisle which has good rail links to Scotland, Newcastle and across the country.

The successful applicant will be a key player in working alongside specialist colleagues around the county, working collaboratively with partner agencies to develop effective and responsive services to children and their families.

If successful, you will be required to travel independently, as the role includes visiting children in clinics, at home and in the school or nursery setting, as well as to NHS bases around Cumbria to attend meetings and training or development.

The post involves assessing and providing advice and intervention for children and young people aged 0-19 years with a variety of developmental conditions.

The cost of the DBS must be met by the successful candidate(s) through salary deduction. DBS charges are as follows if applicable to the post:

Standard Check: £18 + Administration cost of £3.85 = £21.85. Deducted at £6.85 from 1st month salary and £5 deducted from salary over following 3 months.

Enhanced Check: £38 + administration cost of £3.90 = £41.90. Deducted at £11.90 from 1st month salary and £10 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
