Development Opportunity Occupational Therapist - Adult Mental Health

We are proud to offer a variety of directions of which your career could take you, could this be the time for you to make that jump you've been thinking of?

Here at Solent, we have an Acute Care Pathway, consisting of two inpatient Acute and Psychiatric Intensive Care Units and a Crisis Resolution at Home Treatment team. You will join a multi-professional team to ensure the patients we support through brief intervention and/or referral to other services, are seen by the right professional at the right time.

This opportunity could be for experienced Occupational Therapists with an interest in Mental Health, where our teams would support you through relevant training courses such as PMVA Training and Suicide Prevention. We work with local agencies including Solent MIND, The Hive, The Recovery Hub and Portsmouth City Council, where a wealth of knowledge and information is shared to ensure our patients care and progression is at the heart of everything we do.

If you aren't sure and would like to find out more about what this looks like, please contact Lee Allen (Our AHP Team Lead for Mental Health). Lee has a variety of experience within Mental Health as an Occupational Therapist and would love to talk to those interested in finding out more!
