Hywel Dda University Health Board has a new, exciting opportunity for a motivated, driven and passionate Physiotherapist based in Ceredigion.

This is a permanent position within the Acute and Community Physiotherapy Team.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work as part of the Community Physiotherapy Team providing timely and patient-centred care for a large variety of patients in their own homes, neurological outpatient and other rehabilitation settings. The role covers a variety of patients and pathologies including those with neurological conditions, cardiorespiratory conditions, MSK problems and falls and frailty.

The role will also include the opportunity to provide supervision and teaching Band 5 staff and support workers. The University Health Board proactively supports training and development both as part of internal and external CPD.

The post holder will have ability to travel between sites and in the community across Ceredigion in a timely manner and show to have a flexible approach to meet the needs of the service.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

  • Post-graduate experience in relevant clinical specialty.

  • Inter-professional and team working
