We are looking to fill a full-time post at a Local Mental Health Team covering the City of Nottingham. Our core business hours are 09:00-17:00 but some flexibility can be offered.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking a proactive, compassionate, caring and recovery focused Occupational Therapist with excellent communication skills to join our existing dynamic multidisciplinary Local Mental Health Team. The post- holder will work alongside a more experienced Occupational Therapist and Occupational Therapy Assistants to offer profession specific assessments develop collaborative interventions that promote recovery, enabling patients to live their best life.

Job responsibilities

This post is both rewarding and a vital role towards the delivery of treatment to our patients in the City of Nottingham.

The post aim is to implement a high-quality Occupational Therapy service requiring the post holder to Assess, offer appropriate evidence based intervention plans collaboratively with the patients in their own homes and local environments. To evaluate and make adjustments alongside the unqualified staff.

Professional and clinical supervision will be provided by an identified Occupational Therapist.

A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
