  • We have dedicated off ward space, including a therapy hub and gym.
  • Training and development - we have a dedicated CPD fund for staff members. Opportunities could include sensory integration, DBT and leadership training. You will be supported to identify development opportunities and pursue further training.
  • Our service was recently awarded significant funding to increase our establishment. This is a service with huge potential which you will be able to contribute to shaping and developing.
  • A strong professional OT/AHP structure, which recognises the unique contribution that OT can make to adult mental health.
  • Regular management supervision, peer supervision and clinical supervision.
  • Regular opportunities for internal promotion. We are a large trust covering four localities with many opportunities.

Feedback from a current OT within the Trust:

Dorothy Pattison Hospital in the Therapy Hub team is where I started my career as an OT in 2019. The team throughout had an emphasis on professional development, even in challenging worldwide circumstances, which prepared me well for my next steps in my career.

I no longer work for the team that started my OT journey. Still working for the Trust however, I can watch from afar the great work that's being continued to date by the OT team. It's a project that continues to develop and change as time progresses and I'm confident this would be an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 OT wanting to test themselves and make the role their own.

Please contact for informal visits/further questions.
