We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking, passionate and motivated nurse or allied health professional to join our CAMHS Crisis Intervention Home Treatment Team. As a band 7, Team Lead you will assume responsibility for a dedicated area of care and work as shift coordinator in addition to being Team Lead for the Crisis element of the service. The team work 7 days a week 08.00-20:00 hours, therefore shifts are part of the working practice. The team assumes responsibility for the C&YP I36 suite and on call from 20:00-08:00 hours to support the management of this is also part of the role.

To direct and oversee the day to day delivery of clinical services provided by the Crisis Intervention/Home Treatment service which is inclusive of the Paediatric Liaison Service and the management of the CAMHS 136 Suite.
To be part of a well established Crisis Intervention & Home Treatment Team that provides mental health and risk assessment to those young people presenting in mental health crisis in a variety of settings and to deliver evidence based interventions to meet the mental health needs of young people and their families.

To work as a team lead within the specialist crisis intervention and home treatment team for referred children and young people as part of our commissioned approach to meeting the mental health needs of children and young people who use our services. This provision is available from 8am to 8pm seven days a week and is inclusive of the paediatric liaison service and 136 suite cover. Team leaders will support the Service Manager/Clinical Lead with the operational activities, ensuring the delivery of a safe and quality service and the collection and analysis of metrics pertaining to performance, quality outcomes, finances and other Trust required data.
Work within the CAMHS Crisis Intervention/Home Treatment is inclusive of undertaking risk assessments in acute hospitals or other environments and ensuring cover for the 136 suite as required in and out of hours.

- NMC Registration or other AHP registration.
- Experience of working with children and young people with complex Mental Health/Learning Disabilities
- Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Learning Disability, Crisis or Community experience, including experience at Band 6.
- Proven post qualification experience
Desirable
- CAMHS Crisis or inpatient experience
- Mobility to travel across sites, for work to conduct community client contact.
- Previous experience in similar role
- Experience of supervising staff
