Main duties of the job

We are looking for and experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Director to take on our developing Community Pathways role within the mental health directorate. We are bringing together all of our Crisis, Criminal Justice, Community and Perinatal services into a single pathway.

This post holder will be responsible for building our community transformation in line with the NHS Long Term Plan. You will have extensive experience of senior leadership and delivery of change and Co-Production will be at the heart of your historical ethos and methodology.

You will have experience of working in a developing ICS model, partnering with 3rd sector providers and delivering transformative needs based care at both a 'place level' and within more traditional community mental health services.

You will work alongside other Assistant Directors covering Inpatients, Learning Disabilities and Autism and Specialist Services. This may include, sharing responsibilities, being a 'critical friend' or being fluid within roles.

This position supports the development of a strong team to lead and manage the exciting implementation of a co-produced, outcomes based, contract for MH, Long Term Plans, the Transforming Care agenda and the New Care Models agenda.
