We are looking for a dynamic and inspiring Occupational Therapist to provide advanced clinical and professional Occupational Therapy within the intermediate care services. The post holder will complete nine month rotations between Discharge to Assess, Rapid Response and Bedded pathway service.

You will gain an in depth understanding of community working and supporting people within their own homes and bedded facilities.

The post holder will be required to work their hours over 7 days, including out of hours, weekends and bank holidays, to meet the needs of the service.

Post holder must be a car driver with a valid driving license in the UK with appropriate business insurance in order to travel throughout the trust.

Main duties of the job

You will be expected to carry out specific therapy assessments which will include goal setting and treatment planning, assessing risk, promoting and enabling independent functioning. You will be committed to a person-centered approach to your work, have an ability to prioritise and work flexibly.
