Cotswold House Specialist Eating Disorder Unit and the Wiltshire Community ED Team are seeking an enthusiastic Dietitian to join their busy Multidisciplinary Team.

With a reputation for excellence, our service provides a stepped model of care tailored to the individual's needs for stabilisation and recovery. We offer a range of programmes and evidence-based treatments to assist a patient's return to independent living

The successful candidate/s will join our team providing specialist nutritional knowledge, dietary assessments and education to service users with eating disorders that have been referred to the Team

They will provide a key role within the multidisciplinary team and support the delivery of the group programme as well as provide support and advice to other professionals and members of the team.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be able to provide dietetic advice to adults with diagnosed eating disorder individually and in groups as well as providing nutrition assessments and care plans.

Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical standards, policies, and procedures for the service, training students and health care professionals in specified areas of nutrition and dietetics.

Lead on specific clinical audit projects and contribute to research to inform clinical governance strategy, service development and evidence-based practice.

Educate, train and disseminate information to all healthcare professionals providing nutritional advice for patients.

Participate in the trust wide nutrition and hydration steering group

Job description Job responsibilities

* The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and provision of a specialist evidence- based nutrition and dietetic service for adults with an eating disorder. This includes working as a member of the MDT to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

* Our MDT are based at Savernake Hospital, a 5 minute drive from the market town of Marlborough. They work flexibly Monday to Friday and also have the opportunity to work from home on agreed days.

* As well as regular Clinical and Management Team meetings, the Team have an annual off site Away Day to re-group, review and plan working practices.
