Are you an experienced Speech and Language Therapist looking to develop your career? This opportunity would suit either a Band 6 looking to develop into a clinical lead or a Band 7 wanting to broaden their leadership and Dysphagia skills.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to continue to develop the SLT service within Huntigton's Disease and Adult Mental Health.

This role is well supported and would interest anyone who is looking to develop their leadership and management skills. We believe that clinical skills are transferable so would be keen to hear from Therapists who have worked in different clinical areas.

Main duties of the job

To provide specialist SLT assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients.

To work as a highly specialist Speech and Language Therapist in Dysphagia and communication in Huntington's Disease and Adult Mental Health in-patient services.

To work as part of an MDT.

To supervise and manage a small group SALT's and support workers within AMH.

  • Dysphagia trained
  • Experience of independently managing a dysphagia caseload
  • Supervision and/or management experience
  • HCPC & RCSLT registered

  • Post graduate qualifications
