We are currently in an exciting period of transformation within the community mental health services. This role is a band 5-6 developmental role, allowing you time to progress towards a more senior role with training and support from the OT professional lead.

We have a highly supportive OT professional network with regular training opportunities to develop your specialist Occupational Therapy skills, and peer support.

You will be supporting the band 4 OT support worker within the team.

We can provide opportunities to develop in leadership, with career progression in both clinical and leadership roles.

Main duties of the job

You will be a highly valued member of a dedicated multi-disciplinary team providing specialist Occupational Therapy assessment, planning and implementing interventions and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans. You will be an integral member of the team in the implementation and development of evidence-based therapeutic groups to aid mental health recovery.
