If so there are innovative and exciting opportunity within our Tees Crisis team. We have a secondment opportunity for the role of Community Modern Matron. You will be joining an MDT and taking a leading role in delivering and supporting the delivery of safe, effective and person centered care .
Main duties of the job
You will be welcomed by the team , work as part of the leadership team and also supported by them and head of nursing within DTV.
You will be taking a lead on development , assurance and supporting the team with the transformation in order to ensure patient safety.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential
- oRNMH / RNLD, current professional registration with NMC
- oProfessional knowledge acquired through degree/diploma supplemented by specialist training or equivalent experience to master's level equivalent
- oRecognised clinical teaching qualification or equivalent clinical mentoring and teaching experience
- oLeadership qualification or willingness to work towards. Qualification must be achieved within agreed timescale.
- o Quality Improvement Systems for Leaders or willing to undertake within agreed timescale.
- o Evidence of continuous personal development
- o Key skills in literacy, numeracy and ITQ level 2 (or equivalent)
- oExtensive experience working with people with complex mental ill health or learning disabilities in an inpatient or community environment
- oExtensive experience working collaboratively with service users and their families/carers
- oExtensive experience in a clinical nurse leadership role
- oExtensive experience providing clinical supervision, mentoring and teaching to healthcare professionals and students.
- oSound knowledge of principles of nursing and how to apply these in a practice setting
- oSignificant evidenced based knowledge of best practice in caring for patients in the designated field
- oGood understanding of relevant legislation and guidance (e.g. Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, CPA, Safe Staffing) and its application in practice.
- oGood understanding of clinical governance and its application in practice.
- oGood understanding of Recovery principles and application in practice
