We are looking for a two Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to deliver communication support to children with suspected or diagnosed ASD based at local community clinic bases, maintaining links with the Lighthouse Child Development Centre
These two posts are a 12 month fixed term contract
Main duties of the job
Must have completed and signed off Royal College of Speech & Language Therapist newly qualified therapist competencies
Must have extensive experience of working with children with ASD and managing community clinic caseload at a band 5 level
We offer strong clinical supervision support within the service and encourage staff to attend relevant CEN external support in relation to specialist area

- Evidence of observation of work with children/young people with ASD without direct experience
- Completion of post graduate ASD relevant training (e.g. PECS, SCERTS)
- Willingness to complete post graduate ASD relevant training (e.g. PECS, SCERTS)
