The successful applicant will have a background in Secondary Mental Health Care with clinical experience in generic mental health assessment, formulation and signposting, with additional leadership and managerial experience of providing resources and clinical support to a team of junior colleagues. The successful applicant will understand local and national drivers for healthcare improvement and an understanding of how to work effectively within a local healthcare system. The applicant will have proven experience in developing services and an understanding of the role of Quality Improvement Programs in improving and maintaining care.
Main duties of the job
The Team Manager will ensure that the Psychiatric Liaison Service, including the Night Response Team, and the Street Triage team are operationally resourced to carry out their expected roles, and that there are effective governance structures in place to maintain the clinical effectiveness of each team and team member. The role includes maintain relationships with stakeholders including, but not limited to, other mental health teams, Bucks Healthcare Trusts and Thames Valley Police colleagues, and representing Buckinghamshire Mental Health in activities that support these positive relationships.

- Previous Managerial or Supervisory Role
- Relevant Management Training
- Experience of Developing Services or Quality Improvement
