This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Social Worker Band 6 however this is also open to experienced and newly qualified band 5, this is an opportunity to gain experience working with a busy but dynamic Recovery Team.

The Stroud Recovery and Cirencester Recovery Team provides comprehensive mental health and social care to working age adults in the Stroud locality
Main duties of the job
We are seeking a motivated, self-directed and innovative individual to join this enthusiastic, and creative team. We'd like to develop this service to build on what we have achieved so far and want to find somebody who can add to this with their ideas and experience.
We are seeking a motivated and innovative individual to join this enthusiastic, progressive and dynamic multi-disciplinary team. We can offer an opportunity to develop your skills and experience and to contribute to the development of a high quality service.
The team provides a planned needs lead 9.00am to 5.00pm five days a week service. The hours are 37.5 per week 'Flexible' working arrangements will be considered. Any request will be set against genuine operational requirements and limitations and it is not obligatory for a manager to accede to the request.

Person Specification Registered Professional Social Work Qualification. Essential
- Completion of ASYE or equivalent post-registration experience.
- Evidence of continued professional development.
- Evidence of formal post registration learning.
- Experience of working with complex mental health patients.
- Experience of collaboration working with other agencies including the voluntary sector.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook.
- Has had some post qualification experience
- Has had some experience of independent working as a Social Worker
- Evidence of Social Work assessments completed
- Evidence of working with other health and social care professionals
- Evidence of working successfully with service users
- Evidence of working with partner agencies
