Vacancies have arisen for Band 6 Mental Health professionals to join the Mental Health Liaison Team (MHLT) at the Royal Derby Hospital (RDH). We would welcome applications from RNMH, Social Workers or Occupational Therapists (HCPC registered).
The MHLT is accredited with the Psychiatric Liaison Accreditation Network (PLAN), which is considered a sign of excellence amongst Liaison Teams. Its activities have been described as a leading light in service provision.

We are a full multidisciplinary team including Clinical Leads in each area, Consultant Psychiatrists, a Clinical Psychologist, Specialist Mental Health Pharmacist and an experienced team of Band 6 Nurses.

We receive a range of referrals including self harm assessments, support with challenging behaviours, psychiatric disorders, suicidal patients, dementia and delirium assessments, to name a few. We welcome experienced practitioners to apply who ideally have experience in psychosocial assessments and positive risk taking whilst being supported and supervised by the team.
