The opportunity has arisen to join a supportive and integrated Children's Occupational Therapy service in Northamptonshire.

Main duties of the job

We are a Countywide Occupational Therapy service, who support children and young people from birth to school leaving age in their homes, at school, clinic and within community based settings. Patients are at the heart of everything we do and we pride ourselves on ensuring the best possible patient experience. We work in partnership with families, other health professionals and education professionals to maintain a holistic approach to the management of the child.

We are looking for an experienced, autonomous, motivated, adaptable Children's Occupational Therapist to join the team. You will have the following experience:
  • Working with children and families
  • Working within schools
  • Supporting children within the community
  • Application of variety of standardised & non-standardised assessments
  • Range of relevant clinical experience and leadership skills.

  • Postgraduate training Sensory processing
  • Postgraduate training in Developmental Coordination Disorder
  • Postgraduate training in neurodevelopmental difficulties e.g.Bobath
  • Member of COT speciliast section

  • Able to manage, prioritise and delegate workload
