The Adult CMHT in Bolton are looking to recruit an Occupational Therapist who has experience of working within mental health services.
The applicant will hold a caseload of OT specific and some care co-ordination cases.
The applicant will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure excellent standards of mental health and person centred care are achieved.
Main duties of the job
Occupational therapy assessment, formulation and planning.
Care co-ordination and risk management of a range of complex cases.
Duty cover and weekend working on a rota basis.
Multi-disciplinary team working.
Arranging care packages as required as part of the care co-ordination role in accordance with The Care Act.

Person Specification Skills and Abilities Essential
- Ability to work autonomously and set priorities in a demanding service environment
- Experience of effective multi-disciplinary working
- Degree/ Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- additional qualifications relevant to role
- Significant post registration experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience of working within a CMHT
- A willingness to undertake the role and duties of care co-ordination within the OT role
- Experience of care co-ordination work alongside occupational therapy work
- Willingness to work on duty and weekend work on a rota basis
- A willingness to support planning, development and evaluation of the OT service
- experience of developing and running groups
