We are looking for highly motivated, skilled individuals with a passion for recovery to join our team within Steps 2 Recovery.

This opportunity is at Dan Mooney House which provides a slow stream rehabilitation service for service users across Birmingham and Solihull. Dan Mooney House is a 15 bedded male complex care unit based in Knowle.

An experience and understanding of recovery principles within a rehabilitation setting would be desirable but not essential. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate enthusiasm andmotivationregarding care delivery

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your clinical skills in a specialised and rewarding environment. Developing holistic care within a multi-disciplinary setting , we invite our nurses to be creative when it comes to recovery. Excellent communication and motivation skill are an essential part of your required duties.

Informal visits to the units are recommended and encouraged.

This post is for Dan Mooney House , but if other post come up on other S2R units, during the advert/interview time frame. We may offer the post within S2R and not just at Dan Mooney House .

Main duties of the job

We have a full Multi-disciplinary team working with our service users who are referred from within BSMHFT. We currently offer a service for detained service users , male and female and we are an age inclusive service.

We do take referrals directly from Community teams , acute wards and private health care providers and offer a rehabilitation programme for up to 2 years with step down discharge process with steps 2 recovery or back into the community .
