An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join the team at Meadowcroft PICU at Mary Seacole House. We are a ten bed Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit based in the Winson Green area of Birmingham
Candidates should have experience within the field of Adult Mental Health and a patient centred, recovery focused approach to Nursing. Those who will soon be qualifying as Registered Mental Health Nurses are welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job
You will be working within a Multi-Disciplinary Team in providing recovery focused, patient centred care. Staff are required to demonstrate multidisciplinary and multiagency working by actively leading discharge planning, seeking funding and acquiring appropriate accommodation where necessary. Meadowcroft PICU provides individualised care for service users that often have complex mental health needs. This entails supporting recovery through: reintegration, providing holistic treatments; promoting social inclusion, self-management, personnel autonomy and independence. We pride ourselves on valuing and supporting our staff team, which in turn allows us to deliver compassionate, inclusive, non- judgmental and evidence based care. We see each individual we care for as having the skills and ability to achieve their own personal recovery.
