Greenway & Bollin Wards are based at the in-patient unit at Moorside unit Trafford General within Greater Manchester Mental Health Foundation Trust.
There are 2 wards containing a total of 21 beds. We care for later life patients with functional mental health needs and patients of various ages with an organic diagnosis. This patient group & their carer's respond well to warm, caring & enthusiastic staff, making work a rewarding & fulfilling experience.
Main duties of the job
The Unit liaises Trafford CMHT plus a very experienced & enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrists. The unit has other professionals on site & in post including, OTs, Speech & Language, Physiotherapists, RGNs working within the physical health team, Dietitians, Psychology plus an admission & discharge coordinator.
We offer experience & learning to student nurses plus medical staff at various stages of development.
