Are you a RMN, OT or Social Worker with experience working in a mental health setting?
Perhaps you're looking to improve or expand your assessment skills?
Maybe you're passionate about working with adults with mental health problems?
We're seeking a Band 6 Triage Clinician to join us on the beautiful south coast in our Eastbourne Assessment and Treatment Service (ATS). In this role you will be responsible for screening a range of adults who are presenting with a variety of complex mental health problems. You will be predominantly office based, although you will be required to complete assessments in the community.

Our Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) includes a Senior Nurse Practitioner, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Clinical Team Leads, Pharmacy, Consultant Psychiatry, peer workers and support workers.
Main duties of the job
In this role you will be screening referrals in to the service, liaising with referring agencies, carers and other partnership agencies. You will complete virtual and face to face assessments and recommend suitable care and treatment plans. These may be within secondary care services, or within primary/ voluntary care services.
The clinicians in our team are able to quickly build rapport with service users and their carers', which allows us to provide a positive service through excellent assessments and timely recommendations for treatment.
Assessment and Treatment services are fast paced and changeable and ours is no different. We need to be organised, reactive and able to work under the changing pressures, which our supportive team ethic makes possible. All members of the team receive regular supervision, reflective practice and annual appraisals to make sure that everyone has the support they need and that we respond as a service appropriately to clinical need.
