We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced mental health pharmacist to join our friendly, established and respected team, to lead the clinical pharmacy service for our older adults and rehab team, based at Kingsway Hospital.
Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust have received significant investment as part of the government's pledge to eradicate dormitories within mental health inpatient units and have commenced a building project which will provide us with two brand new hospital buildings (one at Kingsway hospital and one in Chesterfield), a PICU and an adult acute-plus unit. This is part of a larger re-organisation of our adult inpatient facilities and will lead to additional growth and investment in the pharmacy department.
We provide all our pharmacy staff with opportunities for development, including full funding for post-graduate qualifications in mental health pharmacy, including the certificate and diploma through Aston University, and independent prescribing qualification.
The department also provides trainee pharmacist foundation training, in house revalidation support and funding for conference attendance.
All pharmacists contribute to an on-call rota in the evenings and at weekends.
This role would be ideally suited to an experienced mental health pharmacist looking to relocate, or a mental health pharmacist looking for progression. If this sounds like who you are, then please get in touch!
