Are you a compassionate RMN? Are you passionate and possess the ability to work with Young People and their Families in crisis and the challenges that come with this?

We pride ourselves on working with young people within the community setting and are delighted to say that we are currently at our lowest ever admission rate.

Main duties of the job

As a team working in the community we aim to promote and deliver evidence-based care for service users, with mental health conditions in their own homes. This can be within a variety of accommodation settings.

The Team operates seven days a week within the hours of 08:00-20:00. Shifts can be flexible in line with this and service need. Responsibilities of the team include: assessing, providing and evaluating intensive treatment offered to children, young people and their families; providing advice and engaging those who need practical support; delivering appropriate therapeutic interventions based on the needs of that person.

You'll be responsible for building key working relationships with a variety of professionals within the wider CAMHS and also other agencies including social care and education.

It will be key to have knowledge and understanding of mental health disorders in children and young people and have experience of delivering evidence-based treatments and therapeutic interventions.

What our staff say...

Working in Outreach team, is one of the most rewarding roles I have ever undertaken. Every day is different it is interesting, challenging and highly rewarding. Our work with families varies from day to day, but there is nothing more satisfying than to enable a child or young person to be able to manage their mental health more effectively and see lasting positive change. There is no shortage of opportunities available for team members and team members have such a variety of skills and experience between them.
