We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated Clinical Team Manager to join the Haldon In-patients eating disorder service.

Main duties of the job

Haldon offers the opportunity to develop additional skills such as NG feeding and enhanced physical monitoring. The successful applicant will be a compassionate clinical leader, who is motivated to support the team to deliver individualised, person-centred care. The post holder will provide clinical / practice leadership and support decision making within the team. The post holder will also be available for consultation and supervision and development of staff.

This is an opportunity to join the other 2 clinical team leaders and a rich multi-disciplinary team comprising of Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapist, Psychiatrists, Psychological therapists and peer support worker.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential
  • A professional Nursing qualification Registered Nurse
  • Evidence of PREP/Revalidation
Experience Essential
  • An understanding of Mental Health Act/ MH Capacity Act
  • CPA/Understanding of recovery principles in Mental Health
  • Experience as a Band 5 in an inpatient setting
  • Experience working within an MDT
  • Clinical Supervision and Mentoring Experience
Desirable
  • Knowledge of care & treatment for those with an eating disorders
  • Substantial post-registration experience
  • Mentoring students in line with professional requirements
