- To provide specialist speech and language (SLT) assessment, advice and treatment.
- To work compassionately with service users and carers to achieve identified goals and to promote independence and well-being, within a person-centred framework.
- To manage a defined caseload of clients.

- To provide expertise in a highly specialist area and to offer advice and consultation on clients care to other members of the team and external agencies.
- To work within the professional practice guidelines.
- To work and act as a key member of the multi-disciplinary team, supporting each client in the achievement of their planned outcomes.

- Degree or Equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy
- Car driver with access to a car or user of NHS lease scheme
- Placement or working experience providing Speech and Language Therapy to vulnerable patients
- Working experience in Learning Disability
- Good communication skills - written and verbal
- Basic IT skills
- Personal or life experience of challenging situations
- Resilience in the face of challenge
- Good timekeeping and ability to manage own caseload
