This is an exciting opportunity for an appropriately qualified and experienced practitioner to develop leadership skills as a Deputy Team Lead within the Mindsmatter Leadership Team. The role, which is a 1.0 WTE job, offers the opportunity to gain considerable experience in service development, managerial, and additional supervisory skills. You will join a friendly and supportive clinical and managerial leadership team that also includes a CBT lead, Counselling lead, PWP lead, consultant clinical lead, Strategic manager/training academy leads and Team Leads.
Mindsmatter is a well-established service with a culture of close multi-disciplinary working. The team has a real focus on high quality care and staff well-being. The team work collaboratively to support key performance targets. We have done a lot of work over recent years to build strong working relationships between the various specialisms in the team; including Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapists and Counsellors.
We are looking for applicants with substantial experience of working within the field of mental health and ideally but not necessarily, some knowledge and experience of working within an IAPT service - (training will provided for any member of staff who joins us and hasn't had previous IAPT experience), working with complex client presentations, and providing formal clinical supervision / mentorship to qualified clinical staff.
Main duties of the job
You will work alongside the clinical and managerial leadership team, providing additional support to Team Leads and Clinicians alike within the respective teams. The post-holder will need to be available to work full-time Monday-Friday.
You will receive regular managerial supervision and support and join other senior clinicians within the service.
You will be required to deliver high quality service outcomes against robust performance measures in addition to having excellent interpersonal qualities; time management skills; an ability to work autonomously; and an enthusiasm for working in an ever-developing IAPT environment.

Person Specification Education/ Qualifications Essential
- oPost Graduate qualification experience in mental health setting ie CMHT, IAPT etc
- oMust hold relevant professional qualification ie RMN, ASW, IAPT Approved
- oDocumented evidence of continuing professional development (CPD)
- oSpecialist knowledge on mental health issues and how these impact on the individual, carer's and the wider community.
