Main duties of the job
Delivering Systemic Family Therapy and Systemic practice in its broadest sense is essential for our shared vision of our Eating Disorders Service and if successful on interview the post holder will have a central role in developing the team.
The post itself will predominantly sit within the CYPED provision of the All Age Service however we are also looking for a clinician with a flexibility to support our clients and their families across the age range if required and to help the Adult part of our All Age Eating Disorders Service accommodate a wider appreciation for the Systemic Paradigm via Consultation and our Reflective Practice Groups.

The All Age Eating Disorder Service is forward thinking in developing care across the age range using evidence based treatments and providing quality, safe and prompt interventions.
We are in the process of delivering our all age model across the whole of the Black Country and are looking a dynamic Systemic Family Therapist to join our evolving team in Dudley and Walsall although there may be travel across the whole of the Black Country. The service is part of the Midland CYP MH ED Forum and currently delivers a range of services for the assessment, early intervention, and treatment of eating disorders consistent with the NICE Guidelines for such conditions. Our most recent CQC inspection of the service rated us Good in all areas and Outstanding in responsiveness and our vision is to work as a team to continuously improve

If successful you will also be required to work across sites to ensure that our families are able to access Family Therapy Services in an equitable way. The post holder may also be required to support the development of others by participating / leading on aspects of our CPDG program and our Clinical / Management process within the broader Children, Young Person, and Families Division.
