Cherrywood Rehabilitation unit is a recovery focused 7 bedded inpatient unit for those individuals with long and enduring mental health needs.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, dynamic and experienced Qualified Nurse to work as a team member in a mental health residential rehabilitation unit based in Wavendon Gate providing recovery orientated care to service users with mental health problems. The service provides a 7 day rehabilitation programme offering 24hr in patient care for up to 7 inpatients and day patients.
Main duties of the job
You should have an active registration with the Nursing Midwifery council as a Mental Health Nurse or Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities with some post registration experience.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential
- Active registration with Nursing Midwifery council as Mental Health Nurse or Registered Nursing Learning Disabilities
- Mentorship (Or equivalent)
- Post registration experience as a Staff Nurse
- Experience in charge of a span of duty in acute clinical area.
- Experience of group work.
- Excellent knowledge of common sections of the Mental Health Act 1983 including amendments 2007
- Excellent knowledge of prescribed medical treatments and possible side effects
- Good Communicator
