An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at the Campbell Centre as a qualified RMN or RNLD working alongside our dedicated Multi Disciplinary team who provide care and support to our inpatients.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidates will work as part of the ward team to ensure high standards of care and the effective management of acute services with an emphasis on safety, IPC and ensuring accurate recording of information.

We will ensure that supervision and continuing development reviews are provided and that your PDP needs are supported in line with service development.

Job description Job responsibilities

  • To co-ordinate and provide care and treatment to an identified group of patients without direct supervision.

    Take responsibility for the development and delivery of evidence-based nursing practice, ensuring that it supports and reflects service user individual needs.

    Contribute to the development of high quality evidence based in-patient services in a changing health care environment.

    Contribute towards ensuring that the ward functions as an integral part of Mental Health Services.

    Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

    To practice within professional guidelines and promote professional practice in the clinical setting.

    To ensure continuous professional development through regular supervision, training and appraisal.
