An exciting leadership opportunity will shortly be available for the post of Operational Manager within the Learning Disability Service and we are looking for an experienced and dynamic leader to fill this pivotal role.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will have significant experience of working within Learning Disabilities and will be enthusiastic, energetic and have a real desire to lead their services with a passion for continuous and creative improvement.

The successful candidate will provide overall operational leadership and management for the delivery of Learning Disability community services, working in partnership with clinical and professional leads to deliver outstanding multi-disciplinary services.

Job responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead a number of community teams and will have overall responsibility for the delivery of a range of complex clinical interventions delivered by multi disciplinary teams.

The post requires collaborative work across the wider organisation as well as other local and regional system partners.

Qualifications
Essential
  • Relevant professional qualification (ie: RNLD; DipOT; CQSW etc)

Experience
Essential
  • Significant experience of leadership or management role in learning disability services
  • MDT experience. Evidence of commitment to successful multi-disciplinary and partnership working.
