BDCFT currently have a temporary Staff Bank requirement for a Team Leader to support the clinical and professional work by line managing the Little Minds Matter: Bradford Infant Mental Health Service team members.

This is a temporary requirement offered via the trusts Staff Bank. You will ideally be available to work full time, covering shifts 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Main duties of the job

  • To line manage the Little Minds Matter team including
  • Authorize necessary claim forms, time sheets and invoices
  • Manage the team accommodation
  • To support, alongside the leadership team, the processes of referrals into the service
  • Through case load management, allocate caseloads and regularly monitor the performance of the team and of individuals in their management of client contact
  • To ensure the provision of accurate and timely performance data to service manager and others where required
  • To identify, assess and manage clinical and non-clinical risks/hazards in your area through the completion of the relevant risk assessments and the implementation of risk treatment plans
  • In conjunction with the leadership team take managerial and supervisory responsibility for the work and decision making of the team
  • Create and maintain effective communication and relationships within the team
  • To support the leadership team to manage the implementation of clinical governance i.e. set up and agree a clinical governance plan; including training, staff development, clinical effectiveness and audit and workforce planning
  • Ensure the provision of training, mentoring, and assessment of trainee professionals' including Trainee Clinical Psychologists
  • Provide support to your direct reports and team members around their personal health and wellbeing.
  • Take a lead role in the development of clinical practice in line with the Clinical Governance framework
