Main duties of the job
To work in a Low secure setting, will be expected to work on both wards at Clee and in exceptional circumstances work on other wards at the Redwoods site. Provide high quality clinical care that is evidence-based, open to monitoring and evaluation, and clinically effective. Person Specification Qualifications Essential
- Possess first level qualification Part 3 or 13 of the NMC Register
- A willingness to undertake further training as appropriate to Forensic Mental Health Services
- Possess or be working towards a relevant teaching and assessing qualification
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the Mental Health Act (1983) with particular reference to Part 3
- Demonstrate an awareness/understanding of forensic mental health legislation framework and relevant national policy
- Demonstrate an awareness/understanding of the evidence that underpins the care and treatment of mental illness
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of multi disciplinary/inter agency working and the need to work across professional boundaries
- Demonstrate an understanding of the use of an evidence-based approach to underpin clinical practice and have the ability to illustrate the application of this.
