Here at EPUT, we are launching an exciting new band 5 rotation in the area of Community Health Services in South East Essex. If you are a newly qualified OT, or an OT who is keen to rotate through new and evolving Community Services, this could be the job for you. Community Health Services are changing and developing at a rapid rate, with the focus on admission avoidance, and smooth and effective transition from Acute Hospital to home.

The post holder will be expected to play an active role as a member of the Community Services and participate in the planning, development and evaluation of Occupational Therapy.

The post holder will be proactive in addressing their own continuing development needs.

This post will be based within the Community Health Services, with the opportunity to rotate between the individual services.

The current vacancy is within the frailty virtual ward (FVW). FVW is a new initiative designed to keep patients at home rather than being admitted to hospital. You will work as part of an MDT with Senior Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Nurses and Rehabilitation Assistants
