We have an exciting opportunity for a Modern Matron to join our fantastic Under 14's team based in Kings Lynn. This post is ideal for someone who is interested in working with children and young people and wants to contribute to the improvement of patient quality of care, safety and experience.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced Nurse, preferably with CAMHS experience and awareness of the operational pressures of a CAMHS team.
We are looking for a clinician who can work independently and as part of a team; is forward thinking; innovative and highly motivated and keen to work with children and young people. We value the contribution of others and recognise the benefit of a variety of clinical experience.
We are looking for a strong and proven leader who can take responsibility for decisions and support junior clinical members of the team.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills are a must for this role as you will be working in an environment where creativity on how to approach situations is key. You will work closely with the team's leadership team, and will be expected to be involved with implementing a number of strategic projects including staff training and development. The successful candidate will work with a Multi-disciplinary team comprising of Psychology, Social Work and Mental Health Nursing.

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is the main provider of specialist mental health services for the counties of Norfolk and Suffolk, serving a population of 1.6 million people. We are a large organisation covering a wide geographical area divided into ‘Care Groups'. There are also Care Groups supporting children, family and young people’s services, and specialist services, including Forensic mental health services.
