Band 5 Rotational Physiotherapists

We are looking to recruit dynamic and innovative band 5 physiotherapists to join our rotation.

Main duties of the job

Rotations cover all core in-patient specialisms: Medicine, frailty/elderly care, orthopaedics, respiratory, surgical/ITU, stroke/neuro-rehabilitation and hyper-acute stroke unit.

We also offer respiratory out-patients including long covid service, MSK out-patients, community rehabilitation, community paediatrics and community hospitals.

We are a forward looking and supportive team and are keen to recruit those with a drive for quality improvement.

We provide a comprehensive preceptorship training package, to support your personal and professional development.

The Trust will provide a twelve month preceptorship period for all newly registered healthcare professionals.

Healthcare Professionals returning to practice, moving into new roles or changing clinical environments, may access an agreed preceptorship period.

Disclosure and Barring Service:

Person Specification Knowledge Essential

• Evidence of maintaining continuous professional development
• Use of outcome measures.

• CSP code of professional conduct.

• Sound understanding of theory underpinning physiotherapy practice.

Desirable

• Wider health issues and role of NHS.

Experience Essential

• Clinical placements in key areas of physiotherapy e.g. respiratory / ITU, elderly rehab, orthopaedics, musculoskeletal out-patients, neurology.

Desirable

• Work with external organisations or in health related settings.

Qualifications Essential

• Degree in physiotherapy or equivalent.
• HCPC registration.

• Membership of CSP
