A rare opportunity has arisen to join a new team of professionals working on this innovative Children and Young People's PEACE project, aiming to improve care pathways and experience for young people with suspected autism and eating disorders/difficulties.
This project is being developed across the Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, and Berkshire (BOB) Integrated Care System.
We wish to recruit skilled Senior Clinicians with an interest and direct experience in autism, eating disorders, healthcare innovation and/or research. We are looking to recruit a Senior Occupational Therapist to take a lead role in delivering this project in Oxfordshire, working with colleagues as part of a wider team across Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.
Main duties of the job
We were very fortunate at the beginning of this year to secure a significant amount of funding through NHS England as part of an initiative to improve community provision for young people with autism and an eating disorder.

We propose to adapt this pathway for children and young people across the Thames Valley over the next three years and beyond.
The purpose of the role is to deliver on the objectives set for the designated Trust/s within which you will work, to improve the provision for children and young people with suspected autism and eating disorders/difficulties. This post is based in Oxfordshire, with supporting team members located in Buckinghamshire and Berkshire.
About us
As part of this initiative, we can offer specialist internal and external training relevant to the job role and we offer flexible working conditions, including hybrid home/office working with excellent IT support, flexible hours across core work hours (8-6) and believe passionately in a culture of good work/life balance and supporting well-being.
The individual team members also sit within the respective local multidisciplinary eating disorder team based within each county and will develop strong links with neurodevelopmental pathways. In addition to direct clinical work (assessment and intervention), this role provides service development and leadership opportunities such as, teaching, training, consultation, supervision, audit/service evaluation and research.
