SPECIALIST LEARNING DISABILTIES DIRECTORATE
Acute Liaison Nurse- Band 7
(County Hospital, Stafford)
Part time (15 hours per week)
RNMH/LD/RMN/Relevant Degree or Equivalent Qualification

If the answer is yes then your next career opportunity could be working with us within our Adult Learning Disability Service here at Midland Partnership Foundation Trust. We are looking to appoint a part time Acute Liaison Nurse to work at County Hospital, Stafford.
Going into hospital is a worrying time for anyone but it can be even harder for someone who has a learning disability. In this exciting new opportunity you will be responsible for making sure people with a learning disability get the support they need when visiting the hospital for an emergency or planned appointment and support a safe discharge.
You will also provide training, guidance and support to acute hospital staff on identifying and meeting the needs of people with learning disabilities.
Our second annual Service User and Carer Survey (2021) received many positive comments including: “Excellent service” “The staff are always helpful” “They are always there for us when needed” “Mega good” “Always supportive and they know what to do if there are any issues.” We are keen to attract applicants who can support us to continue and expand upon the excellent work our teams deliver everyday.
