This excellent opportunity would suit either a newly qualified Band 5 RMN or a more experienced Band 6 RMN looking to specialise in working in community CAMHS.

Main duties of the job

Over a two-year period, the post-holder will complete clinical placements within the various CAMHS sub-specialisms (e.g. in the Emotional and behavioural teams, Neuro-developmental team, Bipolar & Psychosis team, Crisis team) and opportunities to work alongside other CAMHS professionals to learn specific skills (e.g. group delivery, triage assessments, the family therapy clinic).

About us

Our mission is to make a positive difference to people's lives by improving the quality of life for all we serve. Our values are: We Care, We Respect, We are Inclusive - so we are looking for people who live and breathe these qualities when supporting service users and carers, and in their relationships with colleagues in the Trust and our partner organisations.

Job description Job responsibilities

The post-holder will be supported through regular supervision, dedicated time for private study and CPD opportunities available to ELFT employees. By the completion of the programme, the successful candidate will have the skills and experience to deliver and be eligible to apply for a Specialist CAMHS Practitioner role at band 7.
