The service works in very close partnership with the Specialist CAMHS and Social Work teams alongside other key partner relationships within education and third sector providers. Multi agency partnership working is strong within Southampton, and this is well demonstrated by this long standing service made up of a wide range of multi-agency professionals demonstrating the positive outcomes that are able to be achieved for young people when health, social care and education work cohesively together.

In response to the changing needs of children and families the BRS is expanding its offer to include a short stay residential unit. The unit will offer bespoke contributions to a young persons care to help manage crisis situations. The role will ensure the optimisation of service delivery to children looked after and the delivery of seamless services to children and young people whose needs span across multiple agencies.

The BRS Service Manager will be responsible for the visible leadership of core staff groups through to the service line senior leadership team and line management of respective senior managers.
