Southampton West CMHT have an exciting new role for a passionate, enthusiastic and aspirational mental health practitioner. This role is open to registered Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Mental Health Nurses. We are looking for someone with experience in working with people with complex mental health difficulties but can provide training within the role.

We are a fully integrated health and social care team so you would be working alongside a broad range of people from different professional disciplines including Mental health Social Workers, Peer Workers, Mental Health Nurses, Support Workers, Psychologists and Consultant Psychiatrists. As a team we support people aged 18 – 65 with a broad range of serve and enduring mental health difficulties.

We have fantastic links with community partners and part of your role would be to engage with these services to link the people you are supporting in with additional support and guidance. This may include advice on housing, benefits or courses run by the Recovery college to support understanding and management of their mental health.

Car driver and use of car within work hours is essential as we cover the whole of Southampton city.
