Physiotherapy services for Younger & Older Adult Mental Health Inpatient services in Kent & Medway partnership Trust.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Physiotherapist to join our KMPT Physiotherapy team. We are in the process of redesigning and developing Physiotherapy services across all of our mental health inpatient wards and there are many new opportunities for developing physiotherapy practice and promoting the profession.

The work is varied and involves assessing and treating in-patients at our Maidstone, Priority House site. The post offers a service to both Younger & Older adult Acute Mental Health Inpatients. You will need to be innovative and be able to think out of the box to enable our patients to achieve their potential.

You will be working alongside and have the support of a Physiotherapy Assistant Band 4, who will be able to carry out exercise programmes that you have prescribed. Regular clinical supervision will be provided by the Physiotherapy Team Leader.
