We are looking for Mental Health Nurses to work in our new inpatient unit in Chorley

Main duties of the job

Do you have excellent communication skills that would enable you to work within a challenging environment that constantly strives to provide the best possible experience for our service users and their carers?

In order to apply you will be a Registered Mental Health nurse currently practicing and due to qualify in the next few months.

We have opportunities in:
  • Avenham Ward (Female PICU)
  • Duxbury Ward (Female Acute)
  • Worden Ward (Male Acute)

As a nurse in LSCFT you will be central to providing high quality care and be given opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge

Person Specification Qualifications Essential
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse Qualification.(RNMH & RNLD)
  • On-going registration with the NMC.
Knowledge Essential
  • Can demonstrate an understanding and knowledge base of mental health conditions and their treatments
  • Can demonstrate a working knowledge of physical health conditions and the complications that this can cause to patients experiencing mental ill health.
Experience Essential
  • Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team structure
  • Experience of assessing, planning, implementing and reviewing care needs.
