As a community trust we value the importance on the role of therapy in the management of our complex and diverse patient group. A key part of this is having dynamic and skilled therapy leaders who have the vision and ability to deliver care in line with local and national priorities. Through Investment in community Therapy services we have been able to expand our Therapy Leadership within our community and inpatient therapy services.

This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative and enthusiastic Physiotherapist who can work within an integrated multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality care and rehabilitation to a population within the Petersfield and Bordon area.

Working closely with the Occupational Therapy team you will clinically lead and manage a team of Community Physiotherapists offering a joined up rehabilitation service to patients with wide range of functional and rehabilitative needs including hospital avoidance; long term conditions, including neurological, orthopaedic, medical, palliative and frailty and supporting discharges from acute settings. . ,You should have a high level of ability in clinical assessment, intervention and clinical reasoning skills.

You will be a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and will need to be confident and assertive with excellent personal skills and have the ability to demonstrate these in a pressurised environment. Being able to demonstrate ability to lead a team through change is desirable so you can support your team through service and the wider integrated Care System development as part of local and national priorities.

You will be Educated to Degree or Diploma level in Physiotherapy and hold HCPC registration. Ideally the successful applicant will be proficient using IT systems.

Access to a vehicle and possession of a full driving license is essential.

Excellent CPD opportunities, including structured supervision, peer support groups and appraisal systems are in place. You will be take part in supervision and appraisals of staff and students within the Physiotherapy team.
