Rosedale Court is part of the Rehabilitation service line and offers community based rehabilitation for adult residents of Brent and Harrow. The facilities provide mixed open rehabilitation inpatient care. There are good transport links to the unit.

You can expect good level of support as well as access to training and development opportunities.

Job description Job responsibilities

To provide, and supervise a team of nurses in delivery of high standards of nursing care to clients in accordance with up-to-date evidence based professional practice and Trust policies.

The post-holder will have specific responsibility for managing the day to day functioning of the service, providing a mental health nursing perspective for other staff, as well as service users. Working within the ethos of the service, the post-holder will be able to ensure that client involvement will take place, promoting optimum mental health.

Person Specification Essential Essential
  • Registered Nurse Mental Health, Current/Live NMC PIN number; Compliant with re-validation requirements
  • Numeracy skills required for the safe administration of medicines
  • Evidence of relevant Continuous Professional Development
  • Sign off mentor, Compliant with the new Standards for Student Supervision and Assessment (SSSA)
  • Previous supervisory and/or management experience is essential
Desirable
  • Previous experience as a Band 6 nurse
  • Conversant with Mental Capacity Act, Best Interest Assessments and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards
  • Mentorship qualification
