We are looking for two enthusiastic and committed RNLD or RMN to join our Teams within the Learning Disability Inpatient Service at BlackCountry Healthcare.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within fully integrated Multi-disciplinary team to improve the lives of those within the forensic or assessment and treatment pathway.
Main duties of the job
To act as a team leader in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualised programme of careTo take charge of Unit or equivalent, as required
To ensure that the national and local policies are adhered to
To be committed to own development
To have awareness of current research
To participate in programmes of education for permanent staff and students.
To work in co-operation with the qualified staff and other team members in the daily provision of the service.
To act at all times in a manner that enhances the reputation of the service, particularly when dealing with relatives, visitors and the local community.
Report accidents/complaints/untoward incidents/telephone messages promptly to the person in charge.
To plan the nursing care by means of individualised contracts of care with the cooperation and involvement of patients and relatives, where appropriate, taking into account the medical diagnosis.

- NMC Valid Pin or awaiting Pin
- Knowledge/Experience of inpatients
- Knowledge of Learning disability or mental health
- Experience within secure care inpatient services with individuals with a learning disability who have offended or who have challenging behaviour.
- Evidence of recent personal and professional development
